Join us on a journey into the universe of George Enescu, which offers a unique and profound perspective not only on the life and work of the great Romanian musician, but also on the three Minotaurs he faced throughout his life: the First World War, the Second World War and Communism.

Enescu’s biography moves beneath the tides of history following a path as improbable as it is miraculous: from Liveni, a small village in northern Moldova, to Paris, where his work premiered at the Palais Garnier.

George Enescu’s influence on national culture is crucial, and his international recognition is indisputable, with both Romania and France claiming him as their own.
The story of this genius is brought to life through paintings, installations, and rare items, all connected by a special scenography, designed by Diana Nicolaie.
