Guided tour in the Pop Art exhibition
We invite you to discover six decades of art in vibrant colors through the curator’s stories. The exhibition brings together works by some of the most influential artists of the Pop Art movement. From the explosive worlds of Roy Lichtenstein and Mel Ramos to the sensuality of Tom Wesselmann’s compositions and the fascinating universe of Andy Warhol, explored through the lens of his legendary “Factory,” the journey continues with the powerful messages conveyed in the works of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The European perspective is represented by French artists such as Niki de Saint Phalle, Peter Klasen, Raymond Hains, Jean-Pierre Raynaud, and Robert Combas. The exhibition concludes with contemporary echoes of Pop Art, featuring works by Damien Hirst, Julian Opie, Takashi Murakami, KAWS, and Tyler Shields.
Alexandre Eram is an entrepreneur and art collector with a longstanding interest in contemporary visual culture and the Pop Art movement.
His passion for art has developed over time through direct encounters with artists, galleries, and iconic works that have shaped the visual landscape of the second half of the 20th century.
As curator of the exhibition dedicated to Pop Art at Art Safari, Alexandre Eram offers a personal perspective on a movement that radically transformed the relationship between art and popular culture. His selection captures the energy, irony, and visual power of Pop Art, highlighting the dialogue between art, advertising, consumerism, celebrity culture, and the iconic imagery that has come to define contemporary society.
