This regulation has been designed to ensure that your visit is a pleasant and safe experience. Visiting the Art Safari exhibitions implies compliance with these rules.
I. Visiting
1. Touching the exhibits or display systems is strictly prohibited.
Do not touch the exhibits. Although a simple touch may seem harmless, even the slightest contact can damage the surface of a painting, discolor stone, or even cause metals to rust. We recommend using “museum hands” – clasp your hands together and keep them behind your back – when you wish to observe artworks closely.
Keep a distance of half a meter between yourself and each exhibit. Maintaining a safe distance from artworks is necessary to avoid accidental touching or bumping.
Running, pushing, or any other form of disorderly behavior is not permitted in Art Safari. Also, please stay together when visiting in groups. Proper behavior in a museum is necessary to avoid accidentally hitting and damaging exhibits.
If you take notes or sketch based on the exhibited works, use only pencils and do not point them toward the artworks. In case of an accident, a pencil mark is easier to clean than ink or marker stains. Be careful not to use the pencil to indicate exhibits, as this could put them at risk.
Please do not lean on walls or display systems (for writing or physical support); this helps maintain the safety of the artworks.
2. Smoking is prohibited inside Art Safari.
3. Consuming food or beverages in exhibition spaces is prohibited.
4. Access with or consumption of illegal substances inside Art Safari is strictly prohibited; failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the premises and notification of the relevant authorities.
5. Volunteers, guides, and security staff are there to guide you and ensure your safety; their instructions must be followed.
6. Children under 12 may visit Art Safari only if accompanied and supervised, in order to comply with these regulations.
7. It is forbidden to touch, sit on, or place objects on exhibition modules.
8. Art Safari may become crowded. Please be patient and show respect toward other visitors.
In the exhibition spaces, you will encounter Art Safari staff, whose important role is to protect the art. Therefore, they ensure that visiting rules are respected.
II. Audio recording, filming, and photography
9. Photographing exhibits is allowed exclusively with mobile phones, without using flash. Photographing exhibits with any type of camera, whether professional or semi-professional (DSLR, mirrorless, compact cameras, etc.), is not permitted. Non-flash photography, non-flash video recordings, and audio recordings made for personal, non-commercial purposes do not require prior approval.
10. For photographs or audio/video recordings that require special lighting or other professional equipment, prior written approval must be requested at [info@artsafari.ro](mailto:info@artsafari.ro) at least 36 hours before the recording session, along with payment of a photo fee of 500 lei.
11. The use of films and photographs taken at Art Safari for professional or commercial purposes, regardless of their nature or content, is only possible based on a contract.
12. In the case of certain exhibitions or exhibits, photography/filming/recording may not be permitted, according to the instructions and requirements of the artists/curators/organizers. These exceptions will be announced on Art Safari’s Facebook page, at Reception, and near the relevant exhibition space, and will also be communicated by staff and guides.
13. Art Safari will be photographed and filmed by team members. Visiting and participating in various Art Safari events implies permission for your image to be used for non-commercial purposes (including media reports).
III. Access and schedule
14. Access to Art Safari is based on a ticket (according to displayed prices). Visitor groups can benefit from guided tours for a fee, according to displayed rates.
15. Art Safari is open for visits from Thursday to Sunday between 12:00 – 21:00, except for guided night tours (19:30 – 23:00), with the last entry at 20:00. During periods when exhibitions are being set up, Art Safari may be closed; such changes will be communicated on the Art Safari website.
16. Animals are only allowed inside Art Safari if they are guide dogs specially trained to assist people with disabilities.
17. Access to Art Safari is permitted only with bags smaller than 10x30x40 cm (handbags, laptop bags). Larger items must be left at Reception or in designated lockers.
Moving through exhibition spaces with backpacks, luggage, or bulky bags may result in accidentally hitting artworks or scratching exhibition walls.
18. We are not responsible for unattended personal belongings.
IV. Safety
19. There are signs inside the exhibition indicating exits, as well as evacuation plans.
20. The alarm signal means that you must evacuate Art Safari and immediately look for the nearest exit. If you need assistance evacuating, you may request help from any member of our staff.
21. Access to non-public or restricted areas without authorization is not permitted. Failure to comply will require you to explain your presence and identify yourself. You will also be escorted outside the Art Safari premises.
22. Our staff can be identified by uniforms or badges. They are authorized to request compliance with these regulations and, if necessary, to escort you outside the Art Safari premises.
23. If you cause inconvenience to staff or other visitors, or endanger the exhibitions, you will be denied access or asked to leave the premises, and the relevant authorities will be notified. Please note that damaging or destroying cultural property is a criminal offense punishable under applicable law.
24. Violent or insulting behavior toward staff or other visitors will not be tolerated.
25. Access routes must be kept clear; please do not block them in any way.
26. Do not ignore safety signs or barriers, fire alarms, or any evacuation instructions.

II. ENTRY
1. Entry to ART SAFARI KIDS is through the main entrance of the Art Safari event, on Amzei 13.
III. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
1. The Art Safari Kids program is intended for children aged 4–12. (Can a child younger than 4 or older than 12 participate in our workshops? Of course!)
2. Children’s access to Art Safari Kids is granted exclusively based on a valid ticket for the Art Safari Kids workshops (according to the prices displayed at reception/online).
3. Ticket validation is carried out at the Art Safari reception by the parent/legal guardian/adult companion. A child will not be allowed access if they do not present themselves for ticket validation accompanied by a parent/legal guardian/adult companion. If the ticket has already been purchased online, we recommend having it ready, with the QR code visible on your phone.
4. During the workshops, the parent/legal guardian/adult companion may leave the Art Safari premises (with the obligation to return at least 15 minutes before the scheduled end time of the workshop, as displayed on the website) or may wait in the Atrium/central hall.
5. During Art Safari Kids workshops and guided tours, parents may accompany or attend only in exceptional situations (children with disabilities or special needs).*
* The parent/legal guardian/adult companion of a child with disabilities or special needs who has been allowed to attend the workshop is required to:

2) Not use materials or tools dedicated to the educational activity unless requested and approved by the teacher/workshop coordinator;
3) Refrain from any actions that may disrupt the educational process/workshop, such as conversations with other attendees, phone/video calls, taking photos or videos during explanations, etc.;

During activities, only the workshop coordinator and auxiliary staff are authorized to give instructions and guide the children in completing their work.
IV. OBLIGATIONS
1. Children showing symptoms of illness are not allowed to participate in workshops in order to prevent any risk of contagion. Workshop organizers are entitled to deny access to children presenting such symptoms or to remove them and return them to the parent/legal guardian/adult companion. In this case, the ticket fee will not be refunded, and participation in another workshop based on the same validated ticket will not be allowed.
2. Parents/legal guardians/adult companions must inform children that vulgar language or aggressive/dangerous behavior is not tolerated during workshops and guided tours, and that such behavior entitles the teacher/workshop coordinator to remove the child from the premises and return them to the parent/legal guardian/adult companion.

4. The parent/legal guardian/adult companion must provide a phone number at which they can be reached at any time if they choose to leave the Art Safari premises during the workshops.
5. The parent/legal guardian/adult companion is responsible for any unattended personal belongings or valuables.
