The exhibition traces the artistic journey of Nicolae Vermont alongside the celebrated Belle Époque period, which continues to inspire fascination today.

Following the artist’s life and work, the Belle Époque is revealed in all its artistic and social complexity, from the fascination with progress and monumental academic art to the desire to break away from tradition through the emerging modern movements of the time.
