Join us for a guided tour of the Paris Pallady exhibition, dedicated to the painter who brought the “air de Paris” into Romanian art! Discover the universe of a creator who lived between Bucharest and Paris, and who turned the City of Lights into an artistic ideal.

While studying in the French Capital, he befriended the great artist Henri Matisse – a connection that lasted a lifetime. Their friendship is celebrated in our exhibition through a selection of works by Matisse, displayed in our country for the first time, on loan from the prestigious Musée de l’Orangerie and Musée Henri Matisse – Département du Nord, Paris.

The exhibition brings together over 100 works and relevant documents, and features a spectacular scenography designed by Cosmin Florea.

The programme of the event:
🤗 10:30-11:00 – access and setting up the visiting groups
🖼️ 11:00-12:00 – the guided tour

Important details:
Punctuality: Our guides are punctual. If you arrive after 11:00, you may miss valuable information about the works in the exhibition.
Selection of works: Our guide will present a selection of the most important works out of the over 100 on display.
Breadth of space: The exhibition space is very large and includes many stairs (there is no elevator). Get ready for an experience that will stimulate you not just intellectually… but also physically.
Preservation conditions: A dark and cool atmosphere is maintained in the exhibition galleries, in line with the art conservation standards.
