Supercontemporary pavilion

The Super Contemporary exhibition platform, curated by Mihai Zgondoiu (a visual artist, university teacher, and coordinator of a contemporary art space devoted to the younger generation of creators) gathers the new wave of artists interested in art emulation with science, new social trends online, and everyday reality. The exhibition is an examination of the new Romanian artistic scene from Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Iasi, Bucharest, and beyond.

Through the exhibition Young Blood, The Art of Your Times, Mihai Zgondoiu documents this new wave of early career artists, who no longerr restrict themselves to the traditional techniques of creation, but use the multi-media of technology, accessible to everyone today.

Suitably, the exhibition will include interactive art installations, video-mapping, site-specific interventions, performance art, media art, object/sculpture, or experimental print. These hybrid practices illustrate the creative way in which younger artists communicate through art.
