Museum Pavilion

Tonitza and the Childhood Genius sums up a total of thirteen partnerships from museums and public collections. The project partners include the National Art Museum, the Academy Library, the Romanian Peasant Museum, the Bruckenthal National Museum, the Mureş County Museum, the County Art Museum in Craiova, the County Museum of Art in Constanţa, the Vasile Pârvan County Museum in Bârlad, the County Museum of Art Prahova, the “Gavrilă Simion” Eco-Museum Research Institute in Tulcea, and others.

The exhibition consists of paintings chosen from the work of the great painter Nicolae Tonitza, and will focus on one of the central and preferred themes of the painter: portraiture of children.
